Every day we hear amazing stories of volunteers in the Blue Mountains giving their time to help make our towns and region a great place to live and visit. Well, it’s time for us to give something back to them!

Nominations are closing on 23 May for the Blue Mountains Region of the NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards – one the largest celebrations of volunteering across the country.

Categories include NSW Young, Adult, Senior and Team Volunteers of the Year. A new category for this year’s Awards is the NSW Emergency Volunteer of the Year – which recognises an individual or teams volunteering in emergency prevention, preparation, response, or recovery efforts.
