Beyond the Mask is a 10 week therapeutic drama workshop for women with a lived experience of Mental Health and/or social isolation. This is run through Act on Ability and women who are NDIS funded and welcome to apply. Workshops are run on Wednesdays from 10am-1pm and starts 20th April. Booking essential.

Our drama program is filling up quickly! We have two spots left and it’s starting on the 20th of April. So far we have a great bunch of women who have signed up and we are super excited about how it’s shaping up. Whether you are an NDIS participant or not, there is a place for you! SUPPORT COORDINATION
Act on Ability has a reputation for tailored coordination of your plan in a way that meets your needs. One of the complaints we often hear about support coordinators from other services is that the participant never hears from them! Our new support coordinator Nadia will work closely with you and ensure that she is in contact on a regular basis so you feel supported in implementing your NDIS plan. SOCIAL WORK THERAPY
Our Social Work therapist Fiona currently has capacity for new referrals under Improved Daily Living.
Fiona can help you to develop social and emotional skills. This may include:
Learning more about your diagnosis and your strengths
Understanding your emotions
Working on routines and understanding why they are important
Developing your ability to interact with others
Assisting you to develop confidence in problem solving and other areas of your life
Assisting you to develop an understanding of healthy intimate relationships.
