Mondays 10am – 12pm
Presented by Steve Perry
Monday mornings on RBM are all about pretending the weekend isn’t over!
After the Beatles Hour Repeat from 9-10am, Steve Perry takes over the studio for Monday Morning Music, two hours of tunes that are guaranteed to give you a lift and get you wide awake and up for the week ahead.
Tune in! Steve’s got a great taste in music, and is a highly experienced presenter who puts together a well planned out show! Steve was born in Woking, England back in 1963. Woking is famous for The War Of The World’s, the Jam and Rick Parfitt late of Status Quo. And Steve, of course.
Steve’s family emigrated to Australia arriving at Pyrmont in July 1971.
Steve has been a life long Tottenham Hotspur fan, dating back to 1970. He has also been a supporter of Australian football since the mid 70’s, and has seen a lot of changes in the sport over that time. Steve played football growing up in the Sutherland Shire before moving to the Blue Mountains in 1990. He then played for Hazelbrook Football Club for 20 years, also serving on the committee as publicity officer for 10 years. Which led to a 10 year stint on Radio Blue Mountains presenting the Soccer Show from 1998- 2008. Steve returned to the station in 2021. He became President of RBM in 2024.
Steve works as a disability support worker for Greystanes disability service, which he has for the last 16 years.
