Small Business Lift Up – Cancer Wellness Support
Written by Kelly Conway on May 5, 2020
RBM’s volunteer organisation is ready and here to help keep small business drumming during the COVID-19 restrictions. To that end we are doing free promotion across all media for those businesses that contact us.
Today’s feature is local not-for-profit care organisation Cancer Wellness Support. Though not really a small business the local support organisation has up until the pandemic relied on their op shops in Leura and Penrith for funding, but with the restrictions in place they have moved their op shops online.
We found out what they’ve been up to and how they’ve adjusted to the current situation when the General Manager, Bronwen Johnston was on ‘The Breakfast Show’ on the 16th April, with Ron Green and Robyn Catchlove right here on RBM 89.1FM.
She reported that the online shops are proving to be extremely popular and that they need donations of new items to keep up. She also reported that they have added more stock so you need to try out the new online Cancer Wellness Support Op Shop!
Cancer wellness will pick up all goods. You only need to phone them and they will arrange pickup. All funds raised goes toward helping and supporting cancer sufferers and their families and the carers who help them.
Delivery is free if the purchase is over $75 and $10 for under that.
They’ve added more stock and there’s more being added almost daily. Browse and order, and don’t forget to sign up to their Frequent Buyers Club to receive a $25.00 Op Shop voucher.
Happy Op Shopping!
