There will be 4 modules that will be covered in this course:

  1. How to set up recording at home
  2. Creating content with the drop-in method
  3. Getting your show or segment ready to send to your station
  4. Turning your show into a podcast.Training | Recording for Broadcast and Podcasts

Each module will take 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete.

MODULE 01 How to set up recording at home

In this video we cover what gear you’ll need to record your content. We’ll then go through how to use the equipment and how to import your recorded audio to your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) for editing.

Learning Activity
You will learn how to record with the equipment shown in the section. You will then be given time to upload your audio to your favoured DAW. You can choose either the Audacity, Hindenburg or Reaper DAW’s to complete the activity.
