The Blue Mountains Vinyl collective is a show about records. We have so many interesting characters living in this part of the world and one thing I discovered through my 15 years living in the area, is that there are a multitude of record collectors in all genres tucked away in our hills.

Collecting music is very special, collecting vinyl is even more special. You have to invest time, passion and a lot of money to be able to accumulate these wax slices of sound history.


In a digital world, it is so intriguing to find out who, why and how these collectors think and what made them follow that path.


We feature all sorts of vinyl lovers, from record store owners, to eccentric and fascinating vinyl hermits amassing huge collections over decades, DJ’s and music producers and label heads deciding to release music on vinyl.


We also have these guests coming in and giving us an insight into their lives connected to vinyl.
