The term ‘no filter’ is a pretty common one used today to describe a person who speaks without tact, seems to blurt out their thoughts or is generally seen as very blunt. The phrase comes from the idea that your mouth says what your brain thinks without consideration to the audience, situation or time and thats how the music comes the only difference is my musical choices are made with great consideration for my idea of good music.”

The show features gardeners from the mountains sharing their secrets on how they are working with the often challenging climatic conditions, varying soils and different aspects to build healthy, attractive abundant gardens in the Blue Mountains. These locals and other experts will discuss how they are creating healthy soils, contributing to food sovereignty, supporting local economies and building resilience and well-being in communities.

Trevor Day presents The Hear and Now!, a show which features current bands and artists. He likes Rock, Soul and R’n’B and plays lots of contemporary Aussie music. Trevor will also provide a quick update on local gigs, shows and events. From zoomers to boomers there’s something for everyone, so tune in and enjoy “The Hear and Now!” show.

Scattered Sounds

6pm – 8pm

Scattered Sounds is on air every Wednesday night from 6-8pm with John Unicomb bringing you an ever-varied musical experience each week. John plays original vinyl recordings from his truly extensive record collection. Some weeks he’ll present the music of Motown, other weeks he’ll bring in his Atlantic records collection and present two hours of R ‘n’ B. Another week, he’ll be playing Johann Sebastian Bach, or the Wind Instruments of India.

Wednesday Night Music

Each week from 8-10pm Wednesday Night Music presents a range of new wave, lo-fi, folk and blues with a focus on the host’s interesting, albeit dubious, belief that Track 3 on any given album is the essential track.
