Greetings & Salutations, My name is Brendan, I’m a local Blue Mountains resident originally from Bristol UK & completely obsessed with Drum & Bass 🙂
I’ve been writing/collecting this form of music since its inception around 1994. It’s an absolute pleasure to volunteer & present this music on RBM – it’s the highlight of my week. Previously I used to volunteer at a couple of stations in Sydney, but when the opportunity arose to present a show up here in Katoomba, I couldn’t resist.
I like to play Hip Hop /Jazz / Funk in the first hour then get down to business at around 7pm with Drum & Bass which will be a mix of brand new tracks & old ones from my vaults – this will include all genres like Liquid / Tech Step / Jump Up / Darkside etc.
I end the show with quirky tracks or comedy sketches to put a smile on the listeners’ faces 🙂
It’s a wonderful collaborative team here @ RBM 89.1FM and I hope you tune in and appreciate our hard work and dedication to bringing you the best diverse sounds and subjects on the best station in Australia 🙂
