Autumn Hearts on Sounds From The Underground

On Monday 13 October the Autumn Hearts paid a virtual visit from Newcastle on the coast, to Sounds From The Underground here in Katoomba.

Host Steve Perry talked with Ed Peters and Mike Punch about the origins of the band, their Britpop influences, and their new album Mr Sunshine (“It’s not the recording that takes time, it’s deciding on the cover”).

Steve played the Autumn Hearts brand new single Mesmerise on the show, while the lads proved to be very entertaining and generous guests, talking at length to Steve about writing songs for the album, performing around Newcastle and Maitland, planned gigs with James Rayne and Electric Pandas in a couple of weeks, and their hopes to visit and play in the Blue Mountains soon.

Sounds From The Underground is every Monday afternoon from 4pm – 6pm
